The mission of the Thornton Tomasetti Foundation is to:
Fund fellowships, scholarships and internships for undergraduate students, and those planning to pursue graduate studies in building engineering, design or technology;
Provide financial support for individuals and organizations pursuing philanthropic activities related to building engineering, design or technology.
Bridges to Prosperity, Lehigh University Student Chapter - To support construction of a footbridge in Vaquilla, Panama.
Engineers Without Border, Carroll College Chapter - To support the work to seismically retrofit a school in Guatamala to serve as a refuge for the community in natural disasters.
Engineers Without Border, Cal Poly Chapter - To support the work to seismically retrofit a school in Nicaragua to serve as a refuge and education center for the community.
